Can somebody explain to me why there are no flights to Gerona from Newcastle airport.I fancied going back to Lloret ,after not being since 1973 ,but no flights .Has the Northeast lost interest in the Costa Brava .
as far as i can see ryanair are still flying from newcastle to gerona.
ryanair have had a spat with the local gerona council and a lot of flights have been dropped from the schedule, but i found flights for october and november from newcastle./
Thanks jim, I'm not very keen on using ryanair as they have a terrible reputation for not treating disabled people very well and unfortunately, I am partially disabled .
ryanair, in my opinion, offer a great service as long as you follow their rules. their flights are on time, on clean planes.
check their website for all the rules relating to booking for disabled and give them a try.
just don't try to buck the system and you should be fine.
