Nothing! As the flights/holiday will have been paid in full! The airline will probably sell the seats again- Making them even more profit!
Booked 4 seats through Easyjet and 2 of my friends decided not to go . Mentioned it as we checked in and boarded but no-one remotely interested. Don't know whether they have people on standby for flights who have 'no shows' because I don't think there would have been time to sell the seats any other way.
There are quite often people on standby waiting for seats on flights, could be they they have missed their own flights so are hoping to get a later one. A couple of years ago at Christmas my flight was cancelled and I was put on standy by for the next, luckily there were some noshows for the next flight and I was able to get a seat.. I don't know whether airlines still operate a policy for their own staff to fly standby, I know a few years ago I had a friend who worked for BA and she flew all over the place by just turning up for a flight and hoping she could get a seat. Once the check in time is passed then the available seats are given to stand by passengers. As pargaluvva stated the airlines aren't bothered if you turn up once they have your money for the flight..
will there be any come back from travel agent,i`m lead passenger and one member of party can`t make his mind if to go or not!!!plus we are all in same appartment....
loulynn. Once you have paid your money, I'm sure there will be no comeback. It might affect you if you haven't paid the full balance because of under occupancy?
