I bought what I thought was a very good deal from Mighty deals for a weeks self catering in Tenerife through this company for £75 on 2nd January 2013. Initially I got a good response to my request for the apartment on 2nd February, but alarm bells began to ring when by return the attachment which said I MUST fill in to get the special offer asked about my income and what my housing status was?! I duly phoned the Manchester number on the email and after a longish conversation with one of the partners of the company found out they were actually based in Gran Canaria. I said I most certainly wanted nothing to do with timeshare, this person promised to ring me back that same day with news of my booking and guess what - never heard again! I duly phoned Mighty Deals who eventually after a lot of hassling from me got the director to ring me and organise my booking. Nothing again. The travel manager told me they had discontinued trading with this company as they had had a lot of disgruntled customers who had experienced the same treatment. They are now offering you a £50 voucher to click "like" on their Facebook page, but I fear this is just another ruse to get customers as I have found other customers who have contacted them, as they are now showing that the site is under construction. No travel agent ever asks you your income or if you own your own house, so please, don't fall for this scam. Luckily, I was within my 7 day limitation when I first lodged my complaint and have been told my money will be returned by Might Deals.
