We just look for the deals and if they don't coincide with a special date is does not matter.

The savings on the cruise pay for a night out on the actual date or more spending on treats on the trip

We did my Nov B,day cruise in Jan the deal was so good.

Slipping your dates a week to get out of the school hols may give more options at better prices.
