Well I've been all over the place..USA, Canada, Germany and Austria..BUT nothing compares with Norway.
Amazing scenery at every turn. We drove fron West to East, Oslo then up and over to Bergen..totally incredible. 20ft high snow drifts in May/June.
ONLY one slight snag....INCREDIBLY expensive to eat and drink.
2 adults and a child, quick trip to McDonalds....Bingo ! £25 gone !
Take 2 weeks worth of sarnies and a boot load of Pepsi and you're laughing though. ????
Hi has anybody been on Inghams 3 centre trip to norway(bergen/loen/balestrand) or has any info/recollections of Norway going late July for 10 days
I live in Norway, what do you want to know:)
I live in stavanger, and you can take the boat over from Newcastle. This is a nice town, and we have a great foodfestival-which is held the last week in july;)

My son is interested in travelling from england to norway, through sweden and then probably into finland.
Is the newcastle ferry the best option?
Any tips or advice for me to give him?
what is a realistic amount of time to allocate for a trip like this?

How long's a piece of string?
And more to the point how old will he be at the time (under 26 would be a good answer!) and how rich is he because this could get pricey.
