So you didnt notice any difference in the water temps between Hurgharda and sharm Val ??? We have only been in april (although George did his Liverboard in Oct) so don't have anything to compare there but as people have said the land temps seem to be a bit less and the wind stronger on the Hurgharda side at that time of year I had become a tad more worried about the divers. I think ours are all 5 mm .. It's usually George that feels the cold but he has a semi dry suit (think it's called) that I believe is a 5mm full + a shortie if he needs it.
I do think they will all enjoy the change though .. They have dived sharm to death now so need some new challenges.
There is some good diving at Hurghada...they will love it.
Been reading a bit about Marsa Alam and the diving and one of the things that a lot of divers like about it is apparently it isn't like 'diver soup' out there. Which must mean the dive sites aren't as conjested as they are in Sharm, so surely that can only be a good thing.
