No, we didn't pay for the mini bar. There was a fridge in the room, but it wasn't plugged in and we couldn't see a socket anywhere. The safe was free. We went into Jandia town a couple of times which was nice. Full of bars, shops and restaurants. There's a lovely beach in the old town there, but we got a cab, so don't ask me where it was! It was busy with bars and restaurants though - a lovely place to have a drink and people watch.
The only trip we did was Oasis Park, which was well worth doing. The buffet lunch was particularly good for a change.

Thanks Paul
The occidental is very relaxed. I wouldn't say trousers were needed - smart shorts for a man? We went in for lunch often and people were in swimsuits. It was quiet when we were there, so not sure if it would be stricter in the higher season.
