Well booked a holiday last night, 2 weeks in tenerife, hubby myself....and....6 kids, eek, hence we have booked all inclusive for the first time, we have only been abroad once before, 2 years ago, to feurterventura, and got the worst weather they had in 4 years, my 3 kids to ex have been abroad a few times before, so hoping this one can be a little warmer for us.
Does anyone know of any nice trips we could take the kids on, aged between 4 and 15, we are staying at the fiesta paraiso floral in Playa Paraiso, cheap but hopefully it will be ok, down side is we have had to book 2 rooms as we have far to many children!!!!!

With the age range of children you have, my suggestions would be the Waterpark at Costa Adeje, whales & dolphins boat trip from the harbour at either Puerto Colon or Los Cristianos and a trip to Eagle Park (It might be called Jungle park now, it keeps changing its name) at the back of Los Cristianos (I think most of those trips will have a free bus to them)
Loro Park in the North is lovely but a bit too far to travel to perhaps without the kids getting bored? Apart from those suggested there will be activities at the hotel I would think and there are some good beaches around for days by the sea. Hope you have a lovely time.
I would recommend trips to:
The Aquapark in Playa de las Americas - great waterslides and a fantastic dolphin show
There is a smaller waterpark, the Sky Park, although this is more of an 'adventure' venue with bungee jumping etc; and the water playground is quite small.
Jungle Park is a nice day out, and not too far for you with young kids.
Up in the north of the island Loro Parque is my favourite day out, a coach trip from Playa Paraiso would probably take about 2 hours though, so that's up to you, but well worth it if you don't mind the travelling
There's also boat trips out to see dolphins and pilot whales (although you're more likely to see the whales than the dolphins) We went on the Freebird catamaran last year, which was lovely, we saw some whales, but we all got rather seasick after the first hour or so, might not be a great idea for younger kids.
I'm hoping for great weather out there in 4 weeks time - we'll be over in Gran Canaria for a week
So hopefully bad luck comes in threes, and we have done our lot of bad luck.
So fingers crossed we have a brill time.
Michelle
If you do take any bad weather over there with you, make sure you don't blow it over the water to Gran Canaria while I'm there
Kids are hard work aren't they? Mine are teenagers now so I've got the 'baby years' over and done with, I'm just riding out the sulky moody years at the moment
Tenerife is a great place for all ages. We first went about 6 years ago and were stuck in apartments up the big hill near the aquapark. It was OK, but it was cloudy a lot and being up the hill on the wrong side of the motorway got me down a bit, and I wasn't in any hurry to go back to Tenerife for quite a while after that. However, we booked a last-minute week in the nice flat area near the Mare Nostrum last August, and it was fantastic and I'd happily go back every year now
