I think a thread ran on this hotel last year. It is worth doing a SEARCH on this site for the hotel. It has a self service bar.

Just got a quote from find-rooms.com for this hotel 08/05/06
14 nts all-in for two people £567.00. I`ll also get a 10% off that as a loyalty discount. This company is the cheapest that I have found on the Net, and I have used them several times.

Mair, I`m sorry I won`t be able to tell you about the Ola Panama, I had to cancel owing to an illness in the family . I`m hoping to be clear for the beginning of June so I`ll look forward to your comments on it.

Hi all.
I have just come back from spending 3 nights at the Panama hotel/apartments on a all inclusive basis.First impresions were that it seemed a bit dirty, But let me stress that the room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean with a tv(it only had BBCworld that was in English).
The staff were friendly and polite.
It did seem to cater for the French more than English as it is well known to be a place where our froggie friends visit.
The big problem i had was the food, it was terrible, don`t get me wrong there was a good selection but it was horrible, i didn`t even bother using the restaraunt after the first day, you certainly wouldn`t pay for it.
There is a snack bar where you can make some sandwiches( salami or cheese).
The redeeming factor was the bar. You could help yourself to whatever you wanted, the bottles Vodka, Whiskey, Peach snapps e.t.c is just left on the counter so you go and get as much as you want. The bar does close at 11 pm but is open from 10.30am.
Overall it wasn`t bad but but i have stayed at better all inclusives for the same money e.g Don Monelo in Magaluf.The location of the Panama isn`t too bad at being a 5 min walk to the beach.
