Hi we have booked the Asena Village Hotel and there are 2 adults and 3 children and we have the one room - although I believe there are 3 rooms inside if you know what I mean! It is not all inclusive but there is a flexi dine option and I hear Olu Deniz and Hisaronu have some lovely restaurants.

The reviews are great too and I cannot wait lol

Hi, My daughter has stayed at the Asena Beach in a family room with two bedrooms and bathroom behind one main door, also the Karbel hotel they fitted two adults and two children in one room, the Alize also. There are quite a few hotels with family rooms, Olu Deniz Resort, Sun city, Blue Star, to name a few, if you look on one of the hotel only booking sites you will find a few.

They also stayed at Lykia and loved it!

Hi,
We have stayed at the Asena Village around a dozen times times (it's in Hisaronu by the way, the Asena Beach is in Olu). We have always had a family room which usually consists of two separate double bedrooms and a sort of hall/kitchenette plus a bathroom. Although the rooms are not very big and the balconies are restrictive I find that we spent such a limited time indoors that there was never a problem and the location, facilities, food and friendly staff more than make up for it.

There is a vast choice of restaurants and cafes in Hisaronu there is always something you fancy, in fact we have been spoilt for choice on many occasions and can't really fault any of them. After two weeks touring the Lycian coast and eating "Turkish" we made straight for the Shanghai Blues chinese which was excellent, as always, and a couple of days later had a real yearning for a proper steak pie with rich gravy and chips which was met by the Honeymoon cafe and was wonderful! :D

Hisaronu has grown over the years and is no longer the place we first visited but it is still our "home" and we love it every time we get there, such a lot to do, trips and walks and a dolmus every few minutes to take you down to Olu Deniz or Fethiye and really friendly people. You can't go wrong with the Asena Village as a base for the family and the kids have plenty of freedom.

If you book the Belcekiz with Thomson or Portland, the standard rooms sleep 3 (and the rooms are small, I would say 2 adults and a youngish/small child is the maximum occupancy for any comfort). We booked direct with the hotel in 2008 and found the room far too small on arrival for us and our small 13 year old daughter. The management offered us a lovely first floor studio apartment in the annexe which would sleep 5 adults. This had a double bed, double sofa bed and a single sofa bed with plenty of room and a kitchenette. We were told these rooms were only available for direct bookings. There was no additional charge. Hope this helps.

Try the Flamingo Htl, it has family apartments, 2 nice pools and 5 minutes walk to the town centre
and the dolmus stops at the end of the road to take you up to Hisaronu, where the restaurants are a lot
less expensive, or to Fethiye (market is good fun).
Found Olu Deniz to be more expensive than other Turkish beach resorts, you even pay to get on to the famous
Blue Lagoon beach.

Also, try the Karbel Hotel in Olu, they do have family rooms which can sleep up to 5 people, we were placed into a family suite while awaiting our suite that we had booked, and it had a room with double bed and then separate room with twin beds, although there would have been LOADS more room for "put up" type beds in both rooms. The hotel has some good reviews, in excellent place in OLu, away from main resort noise but literally minutes down the main strip to the beach. Has 2 nice pools, good food on site, and can be b +b or half board.

I booked direct last year as had separate flights with Onur, but it is a lovely place. Olu is wonderful for kids, and as I travel alone with my son this is a big factor for me. WE went there 2 years on the trot, however, my travel "bug" has bitten and I need to try somewhere else, although I am thinking that it will still be Turkey . . .
