watched it! Very interesting. 
I loved the footage of the children playing with the elephants in their Sunday Best clothes wearing pithe hats, and how exciting the ride on the raft made of inflated Water Buffalo skins would have been
Well- they did have "standards" to keep
I really enjoyed it what a privaliged (oops can't spell) childhood they had- all say it was idyllic but what I don't understand is why none of them chose to live there.

I think it was because the Idyllic pampered life they had in India ended ,when at the tender age of 7years old most where sent back to England, to boarding school rarely or never returning.What a culture shock that must have been.
I'll add a couple of good books on the subject .
