Hi Fiona & Gemma, yes, definately proud of the kids and I certainly left the charity in a very comfortable position, so lets hope they continue to do well. The hardest thing is 'moving on' as the kids meant (and still do) so much to me, and it's always great to receive their calls when they need a hand, or advice. Hopefully I'll still be able to continue to do that whenever they need me.
My new project will have to be new children as I don't want to step on their 'toes' so currently looking out for areas that need assistance, preferably the more 'distressed' the better, I have asked a few locals but they tend to send me to families that might not be as well off as some, but much more comfortable than I am hoping to help. If anyone knows of any suitable places then do message me through my site.

Not sure if Holy is the best way to describe me (I'm not very spiritual or religous), but I do want to help and it saddens me when some children aren't given a chance in this world... Everyone can make a difference... So just make the world a better place, if you don't who will? (that's a general comment, not directed at you globetracker
Thanks all
Confused by that post Rob, wasn't it reported on here that CWT had been wound up?
Hi botany, yes cwt was wound up although they started a new one with all the funds, children etc i had secured.
For those who are interested, we have been doing a lot of out reach work and I have just uploaded LOTS of photos from the last month or two. Do have a look...

Looks like it morphed into a new charity..........

Lets hope it is genuine as it seems to be receiving support from a UK designer flip-flop brand........

Sounds dodgy though.
Perhaps Rob can enlighten us?
Yes Trustees Closed CWT and as far as I am aware moved all monies/assets to the new charity, Gandys flip flops were already supporting Children Walking Tall while I was there, so they continued with the new charity. I think Gandy's will be starting their own home soon. Best of luck to them.
