Hi
I have been looking for a 1 week holiday to Paleochora at the beginning of September. Living in Newcastle limited my options for flights to Hania, with Kosmar appearing to be the only option.
I have had difficulty booking the holiday on the Kosmar website, so gave them a call and the Newcastle flight has been cancelled but the website has not yet been updated.
Does anyone have any suggestions of alternative ways to get to Palechora from Newcastle?
Many thanks
Claire
Clair i will leave this post in-case someone can help but i would suggest you ask the flight question in the flights and airports forum where our particular specialist hang out
Thanks Wizard
If that doesn't appeal - I believe Plakias has some of the feel of Paleohora - easily reachable from Heraklion.
Or Myrtos on the south east coast (but I think Kosmar have dropped this wonderful place now)
i know its two planes for each way but hey think like its winter and there are no charter flights.
regarding paleochora i like it even though i dont remember lots since the last time i was there.
regarding myrtos. its a good thing kosmar is not sending people over. lets keep a few places as unspoiled from mass tourism as possible
They're not expensive (by scheduled standards) and have regular flights. Just a thought ........
worth a look on websites like travelsupermarket.com and Asda travel(there are many to choose from) to find flights even if it means a change of aircraft in europe.
