We stayed in the Cas Saboners two years ago with Thomas Cook and have holidayed every year for the past 10 in Palma Nova or Magaluf.
I enjoyed our staying there and would definately go back but Thomas Cook have stopped their flights from Aberdeen.
We had a huge apartments on the ground floor. There is no mad am dash for sunbeds and there is loads of room.
To eat I would recommend are is the BLUE BAR. Come out of the hotel front turn right and walk to the bottom of the road, turn left and cross road and head towards the beach front. At the beach front turn right and continue walking along the beach front and you will see the BLUE BAR. It sits looking onto the beach and sea.
The SON MATIUS HOTEL does excellent steaks cooked on an open air grill and you choose what meat or fish you want and is really srumming. Make sure it is the resturant based in the botton of the hotel, it is the one with the big fish tank in it where you can choose your lobster if you wish.
It is the same go to the bottom the road from the hotel, turn left and keep walking left and it is just off the beach front as well. It is the large hotel with mirror glass windows.
There is also ROBINSON CRUSOES on Maguluf beach front which is just a 5 mins walk. Again go to the bottom of the road across straight across in front of you and keep walking straight down the streets and you'll reach Magulaf beach. Good for lunch time.
There is a good italian 'PALMERAS' in the quiet end of Maguluf. This time again go to the end of the road. This time turn right and your walking to Maguluf, keep walking past roosters chicken and the bar where leepy lee sings in, past the chinese and you'll see a roundabout in front of you the italian is just right in front of you. They do a really good one person paella, the chicken one as I don't like seafood.
I am a really fussy eater and have never ever had any problems with finding good food and my hubby loves seafood and these hotel always accomodate both of us and our five year old.
At the end of road walk left your in PALMA NOVA or either walk right or straight ahead and your in MAGALUF.
There is a hotel supermarket right next dood to Cas Saboners that does fresh hot bread in the morning which is excellent.
We did not eat in the hotel at any time and your seconds from eating out at half the price for food and drinks and ice creams were over priced at 3 euros for a kiddies lolly.
Palma Nova is one side of road and you just walk across the road and your in Magaluf it is normal hard to tell which you are in. There is such a wide choice of places to eat and it is up to you if you go for the cheapy 5 euro three courses or pay a little more which we do as for a few euros more you do get better food.
