Hi, I have just been looking at the reviews on the above apartments and they all seem very good
Does anyone know if you can book these apartments direct with them or does it have to be done via a tour operator.
I want to see if its cheaper to do this seperately.
The majority of tour operators are charging us for an adult price for our son who will be 12 next year,
thanks for any advice
Wendy
You may actually be cheaper booking through a third party site such as http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk rather than direct with the hotel, if they have this hotel available.
I have booked a 4* hotel in Benidorm which is £33 pppn with TR and would be €90 if I booked it direct with the hotel, almost double.
You will find other booking sites mentioned in our DIY forum.

not wanting to go until next year anyway, just wanted to check the prices now.
Has anyone stayed in the above apartments?
If so can you recommend them and tell us what they are like? Are they noisy at night? Sorry for all the questions but would be grateful for any advice given.
Cheers

Hi Ali, I haven't been but am due to go in August so I'm hoping they are great! I read loads of reviews before booking and most give very good reports and I don't recall any mentioning them being noisy despite their location close to the marina. Have you booked to go or just thinking about it at the moment?
To be honest with you we couldn't make our minds up and have since found out that these are popular apartments that get booked up for the kids summer holiday dates very quickly. The dates we wanted are fully booked and so we are going to America this August and will book Paradise club for next year instead.
Have been advised that we should book Aug 09 as soon or not long after dates get released. They look to be lovely accommodation, a larger complex than we normally go to and thats why I asked about them being noisy. Hope you have a fab holiday and make sure you report back on your return

Yes they do seem very popular, we booked last August for this Aug and managed to get a free child place through Direct Holidays, I looked again a couple of weeks later and my dates were fully booked up. Like you say, it's a bigger complex than we'd normally go to but I think because it's mainly geared up for young families I reckon things should quieten down at a reasonable time, hopefully! Will definately post a review after I've been and post some photo's if I can work out how to do it.

Many thanks
Many thanks
We are a family of four...what's the storage space like in the 1 bed apartments?
Do the fridges have a freezer compartment? Wondering whether to bother taking ice blocks for cooler bag.
Wondering whether to ask for a pool view room. Would one of these be too noisy?
Hope that someone can answer my questions and if you have any other hints/tips they would be gratefully received. Thanks, Nic.
Just thought of another question! I know the rooms have TV's and think I read in a previous review that they show CBeeBies, is this right? Anything to keep my 3 year old quiet for a bit!
tried the usual suspects but still seems very expensive!!!
We always go with Portland Direct. Cheaper and great accommodtaion would recommend Vista Picas Apartments in Cala'n Forcat Menorca.
http://www.marhotels.com but again this worked out more expensive in my opinion.
Is it specifically Paradise Club you want? These are only available through MyTravel (Thomas Cook Group now) the cheapest option being Direct Holidays. The apartments are available through accomodation providers such as Alpha Rooms, Travel Republic, etc but I found they were only available through them on a HB basis and very expensive. You also have the option of booking direct with the hotel May be worth seeking out tel no or website and trying direct.
The resort was fairly busy but not as busy as I expected for August, still as lovely as I remembered it though. Lots of unpacking calling me so will come back on later and try to do a full review when I get a minute or two.
hi nicjw! glad you had a great holiday x good news re the weather, hopefully it will be as hot by next friday!!
Am thrilled that you had a good holiday at the Paradise Club
Can't wait for you to post a full report when you get time but .................... please make it soon -

It's done already! Check the review page for the hotel and resort, sorry don't know how to do the link!
Sorry if the review is a bit waffling in parts, must have been jet lag, ha ha.
If there's anything you want to know about the resort, just ask and I'll do my best to answer.
heading to the paradise club apartments, cala n bosch in june this year, having read the reviews on this site and others I was a little concerned that a few people have mentioned that some of the apartments were damp, smelled damp. Anyone able to comment about this particular issue or anything else regarding these apartments, all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dan
http://www.marhotels.com ? If you've got any other questions, fire away and I'll do my best to answer.
Hi Dan. Went to Paradise Club in August last year and like you had read the reports about damp. From what I understand it can sometimes be a problem early on in the season in many of the accomodations in Menorca. We didn't experience any damp problems when we went but we did have an upstairs room, didn't hear of any other complaints either. The only slight smell we had came from the bathroom, but it was only an occasional thing and got better if I put the plug in the bath. I took the advice on here and emailed the hotel a couple of weeks before we went requesting a 1st floor room overlooking the pool and that's exactly what we got and it was lovely, so I would suggest you try the same. They are really nice apartments in a great resort - I'm sure you'll love it there. Have you had a look at the hotels' website Post a Reply
