i would love to try this but im a wimp

unfotunately on a drunken night i stupidly said i would do it and have taken one or two bets.

is it safe.scary in candolim and how much and would anyone like to take my place.
can you do it drunk.

Arambol is the only place in Goa where you can paraglide, do you mean parasailing ?

, when i was on Calangute beach in 2004, i thought id do a bit of water sports. I dont know what it was called, either paragliding, or parasailing?
All i know is i was attached to a jet ski and i was in the air

If this is where you go up on a parachute towed from a speed boat, then you have nothing to worry about. It is really very tame. Go sober and enjoy it.

Personally I wouldn't parascend drunk. Actually, I wouldn't do it at all :yikes

its the one where you get pulled along by a speed boat and your attached to a parachute (hopefully)

On a scale of one to ten, I would put bungee jumping as the scariest thing I have ever done outside work, and give it a nine. Paragliding in my opinion rates no more than a three or a four. It is far scarier and much more dangerous crossing the road in Calangute. Mind you I dont mind heights, I can see how it might be different if you are scared of being up high.

I have tried it a couple of times both times off Candolim beach, personally I love it, but last time I did it in tandem I went up with my girlfriend Jane, well as soon as we got up Jane got hysterical, crying " I want to come down, I dont like it " so its not to everybodys taste especially if you dont like heights, but dont let me put you off I think it is fantastic and will try it again in January but not with Jane!!!!

I braved it last week, I am terrified of heights, but thought I needed to try it before I get too old to do it. I was petrified at first, but loved it. This can be confirmed by Gemma33 who witnessed my bravery.
