Basically, I know where these are, ideal area for us, and am coming up with with decent price for 2 weeks Feb. half board. We need somewhere flattish as Mum in w/chair. I keep asking for 2 rooms as Mum and I are going, plus my on/off partner, so clearly us all sharing 1 room isn't good, but all searches for anywhere coming up as 1 shared room, except PDLP, and as I say, wiould be perfect area for us. It's described as a 1 bed apt with sofa bed in lounge, and that would do - Mum and I in bedroom, fella in lounge bit on sofa bed.
Hope this is clear and can anyone confirm that's the case for the layout?
Thanks

Hi Ali .. there are various types of accommodation at this complex, such as studios, apartments and duplexes. But most of it comprises of one bedroom apartments, with separate lounge/kitchen area and sofabed.
we have stayed at these apartments twice and have always had 1 bedroom apartments. very spacious. when we went in august 2008 my parents came with us, and my dad can't walk distances and they gave them a ground floor apartment for disabled persons. it was great and dad was able to put the electric scooter he'd hired in the apartment every night.
hope this helps.

Hi im thinking of going on holidays to Tenerife with my boyfriend and a group of friends we are all between 20-22 and would like to know is the night life good? From what i have read the apartments seem to be in a good location and close to the beach which is excatly what we are looking for as we are quite a lazy bunch! so we just want to know is it popular amongst our age group! Please let me know what ye think! and if you have any more tips for us
Does this hotel have a website as I can't seem to find one.
Any help/advice gratefully appreciated
Found the website now thanks.....but would appreciate feedback on my other questions
The Parque de la Paz apartments are literally on the doorstep of one of the best strips of bars in the resort! You have the Corner Bar, Soul Suite and loads of others. Been a while since I've been there but I'm sure one of the PDLA regulars will be able to tell you more.
Ok thanks....that's great news....I'm gonna book it
Just to let you know I didn't actually book that complex after all....Thomas cook flights are pants
We have heard that Cara and Bobby have left the parque de la paz hotel. Does anyone know if that is true?
If it is, does anyone know where they are now working? We are off to tenerife in March, so would be good to catch up with them.
Thanks
Tracey
Have booked S/C as we do prefer to eat out. Thomas Cook could only offer 1 bed apt but I know they have some two beds and they do HB.
I wondered whether anyone had been recently and had any idea how much upgrades cost?
I don't think you can upgrade to the two bedroom duplex apartments, while you are there.
You can upgrade from sc to hb whilst there. we're going there next week so will confirm price then. we always go sc at parque de la paz, as there are loads of restaurants to choose from around the vicinity of the complex.
they have computers and games in the reception, and a pool table for the children but apart from that, not much else. but on saying that, there is a new entertainer at the hotel, and on our return will let you know.
we've been going here for 4 years now, and have had great holidays. we're off on the 19th march for a week, and then on the 6th august for 2 weeks!
if you want to know anymore please pm me.

payable locally, it's 28 euros per adult and 21.50 euros child 2-12.
the details were very sketchy from the hotel staff, but as one man on reception put it " if you can eat it or drink it, it's included!"
Thanks for that Tracey, I'll look at your review. That would be 784E per week for four of us for AI. Might be worth a try. For anyone who has not yet booked it's probably cheaper to book an AI package.
i am going to parque del a paz in october can anyone tell me if you can upgrade to half board and how much it cost i would be very gratefull
I have stayed in parque de la paz on at least 5 occasions on self catering basis, looked at menu and have to say would only do self catering, thats just my opinion
you can't upgrade to half board when you arrive, only all inclusive.
the price is 25 euros per night for adult and minimum 3 days.
we've just returned from there, but went self catering.
hope this helps
