Hello All
I lived in Pau for 4 months whilst I was at University. This was nearly 10 years ago, so a few of us have decided to go back for a visit over the second bank holiday weekend this month. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the current methods of getting to and from the airport as the airport website is a bit unclear. I'd also be grateful for any recommendations for nice restaurants and cafes. We are staying not far from Place Clemenceau on a room only basis. Any other comments would also be very welcome.
With 4 of you and the airport so close to Pau, I think the easiest and best would be a taxi. There are usually plenty just to your right as you leave terminal building.
Do you have any idea how much a taxi might cost? There are only 3 of us going and the flights and hotel aren't exactly cheap so we are looking to keep costs down wherever we can. We used to get the airport 'Navette' when we lived there before - do you know if this is still running?
Thanks
Corinne
Why not put Pau Airport into a search engine - this should tell you if the navette still operates! Bonnes vacances!

Times seem to be set with RyanAir in mind.

Not much difference in price it seems. For 3: 15 Euros for navette, 20-25 Euros for taxi.
Thanks for your replies - I'd already been on the airport website and couldn't work out why the bus only goes in one direction. Nevermind - I'm sure it will all become clear when we get there!

The weekend itself was a bit of a let down due to very bad weather and bank holiday closures, but we did manage to visit pretty much everything that we wanted to. We won't be going back though!
