Pefkos is a nice resort that compares well with both Tsilivi and Stalis, "I've never been to Argassi.

It is a family resort, mainly used by Brits.

Hi , i have only been to Pefkos (many times) so cant compare with other resorts.
However i can tell you it has to be the easiest village to get around because it is so small. There are lots of lovely restaurants, nice beaches and 2 very good supermarkets if you are self catering.
Very cheap to get a taxi to Lindos, last year we did find eating out expensive but we go with the intention of not scrimping, so we could have done it more cheaply!
Personally i wouldnt want to stay anywhere else as it is so safe and i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phyll, I would be grateful if you would detail where the two supermarkets you recommend are. Our second visit to Pefkos is in a couple of weeks and we plan to make a few lunches at our apartment kitchen area.

they are on the main street on the side where most shops are, you really cant miss them because the village is so small and only has one main street, the other roads are just ones that lead down to the beach, you really wont miss them and i hope you love Pefkos as much as we do

Hi....we were in pefkos last august....loved it....definately one place I will be going back to....stayed at the marianthi appartments....no complaints ....went out to eat with family each night....bill aprox 50euros for 3 course meal with wine or beer for 4 of us....in lovely surroundings by really nice waiters...some resturants do a 3 course meal deal menu that has many choices...and one of them was my favorite ...but cant remember the name....closly followed by a resturant called the coleseum who's prices were very good too for the standard of food and the service.....some bars had happy hours that went on all day till about 10pm where you got a pint for 2euros and half price cocltails....there is a night club open well into the early hours not far from the marianthi...but music wasnt loud enough to disturb us....the evenings were relaxed strolling along the main street having a meal , trying out the bars....what a lovely atmosphere there was....everyone seemed so happy and really enjoying themselves...I never seen any kind of bother all the week I was there....it was one place I was really sad to leave....if you could bottle what pefkos did to for stress levels there would be millions to be made ....tweetie

Hi TP, i stayed at the Marianthi aswell last sept, my 4th stay and i love it as much as you do
We thought Terpsis , Spitaki, and Nostalgia restaurants were particularly good restaurants.

hi phyll.....my favorite didnt seem to have its name on the entrance....so it just didnt stick in my mind after all this time....maybe you will recognise it.....its on the same side as the coloseum resturant but a lot further down...it was on the opposite corner to the enigma ( where we had the wedding reception and is also nice but more expensive ) ...you had to go down steps from the main road on one side but a slope on the enigma side of the corner.....

You could go to a different resturant each night and not be dissapointed....there are so many good ones on the main road....when I go back want to go for 2 weeks next time.....want to do exactly that for the first week ...then go back to my favorites for the second week.....tweetie
