Hello everyone!got back from Pendine about 7hrs ago and i think it's only fair to thank everyone for their support on this website and to let you know what a brill holiday we've all had!
Pendine sands[parkdean holidays]is a lovely park!pleasant,friendly staff-good entertainment-including american wrestling on a Sunday afternoon!and its right on the beach!as a base it's perfect!not the prettiest of villages but i can't really fault it!
Pembrokeshire is lovely!i'm so envious of all the members who live there!the beaches are rugged and peaceful!really great 4 kids!clean sands and sea but also interesting!you can catch crabs{!} and shrimps in the rock pools and watch people with their kites/fishing/surfing!a real pleasure!we toured around-as far as fishguard and ate good food!can i strongly recommend wisemans bridge inn for outstanding quality and a wonderful setting!
sooooooooooo perfect ....we will return,i promise!God blessxxto all in south walesxx
So glad you enjoyed our little coast.sioux
glad you enjoyed it, I'd forgotten about wiseman's bridge it is really lovely.
just a little joke! luv marshyxx
Marshy-did you manage to try any of the places I mentioned, or did you not find them?
to be honest cos the weather was sooooo good we tended to stick to the coastal route!
visited saundersfoot[where you have your caravan!!] and had a lovely afternoon on the beach there!went into tenby 3 times but also went to amroth and ate at the New Inn!one day went to manorbier castle-good beach there too!we went to saint david's too-felt like i couldn't visit south wales without going there!went inland one day to saint florence and the animal park!
It was just all really nice and i looked those pubs up on the internet that u suggested-they looked great but just didn't get the chance!will be going next time cos we will definately return!!!
thinking of newquay, wales next summer cos i'm now inspired but worried it will be too quiet with 6yr old twins!any info???
Hi marshy ... I have noticed phone text style abbreviations in a few of your posts. Please try and avoid that, or your posts may be deleted.
I was doing it.
It is as you say probably a lot quieter then the likes of Tenby etc.
Next time you are down that way 1 beach you have to visit is Barafundle Bay which is by Stackpole-look it up on web.
Bit of a hike to get there but well worth it in the end.
