We are thinking of staying in Karon in November. Has anybody ever stayed in Karon before? If so do you know what the distance is between Karon and Patong, and Karon and Kata. Also how much would it cost in a tuktuk?

Is it right that Karon is a quieter area than both of these however there is still a good number of restaurants in the area? For us I think that Karon would be the best place to stay as it's in the middle of Kata and Patong so if we wanted a livilier evening we could go to either of those
