Pierre et Vacances is a well-established holiday provider of mostly appartments. It is French-owned and successfully marketed in France and Germany and Italy so that most of the clientele are French and European - including some Brits but they are not the majority client group.

Although I have not holidayed with them myself, I know several happy holidaymakers who have stayed with P&V. Read the accommodation details very carefully - some beds are in alcoves or in the sitting room ... but this is clearly stated in the description.

Port Bougenay is particularly suited to children, and the Vendee offers a host of potential sights to see, good sandy beaches and hot weather (but beware sudden and powerful thunderstorms!).
