Morning Mark..

Once you drive past the village towards Limassol on the left after two or three clicks you will see a road sign that says ''Pissouri Quay'' this is the single track road that we got shot at, comes out depending if you branch left or right to one of thiose great beach tavernas one is called the ''Malandra'' ''fat chips on steak pies'' soon they will be opeing again, you will find me usually on a Sunday lunch digging in..

...........and the other is called Kyrenia Beach Restaurant.
Excellent fish pie and steaks.

I didn't know it was called Pissouri Quay. I've always called it Avdimou Beach or Bay.

Surely, driving towards Limassol you turn right.
The Malandra turn is just before a T junction. For the Kyrenia you turn right at the T junction.
Left takes you inland.
Unless my memory is worse than I thought!

3 places we intend to try this year:

The Bunch of Grapes, in the village.
Limanaki, at the beach.
Malandra, if it's open, Pissouri Quay/Avdimou Beach. (Hasn't been the last 2 times we have tried.)

May try the Olympus. A bit posh looking but it will be Trish's birthday while we are out (always is!) and it is at the end of the road we are staying in.

I stayed at the Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri and it has a very good (but expensive) a la carte restaurant and a taverna that also does excellent food.
Next door is the Columbia Beach Hotel. Their restaurant is cheaper but the food is excellent also. Definately worth a visit...

Not sure about where Cybarco are building, but the area known as Pissouri Heights is a sprawling area, as you say, to the west of the village.

There are mini developements all over PH. There are some fantastic houses/bungalows there. We looked at a few that were almost finished. IN OUR DREAMS!!!

You will need a car. No bars or restaurants up there other than the Olympus, which looks a bit posh/formal/expensive.

We are staying in Kapsalia Villa 2. Never stayed there before but KVs are owned by the people we normally stay with, Rantzo Properties. Panikos and Melios, great guys!

Morning all

Furball as Mark has said you will need a car really, although you will only be a few minutes from the beach area but still ten minutes from the village, Cybarco and an excerlent developer here, and there properties are not cheap, so your accomodation should be ok..

Pissouri has been heavly developed over the last few years..

We hired a villa in Pissouri Bay last August for two weeks. It was located on the beach road opposite a greay fish restaurant. All I can say is that I am hard to please and I thought it was a fantastic location. The Limnaki restaurant is the best. It is 5 star food for 3 star money but you may need to book. I have 2 young lads and they had a great time. The taxi firm is based in Pissouri Village which is nice. Pelos the owner is a great laugh and all the drivers are very good. We would get a taxi up to the village and they would not take money until they brought you home again.
About £5 there and back.
All other restaurants in Pissouri Bay are very good also, especially Vine Leaf.
I would recommend the location as perfect. Reasonable choice for food and drink and central.
