We're off to Playa D'en Bossa in less than 2 weeks
From the look of our flight times, the planes will be going through the night - anyone know if this is correct ?

we stayed in PDB a couple of years ago, and in all honesty, after a few hours, you stop noticing the planes.
They do go at all hours, but it really isn't a problem.

we stayed there last year and its true u dont notice them after a while it was not a problem for us kids enjoyed looking at them as well while on the beach we fly out on saturday at 10.50pm going back again

Hiya - We're staying at the Sirenis Jabeque. Think it's between PDB and Figueretas.
We've been to Ibiza once before but stayed in Portinatx (lovely but remote), but our 2 friends are Ibiza virgins

Few years ago, as I was standing on the top of the Death slide in Aqumar I waved to a pilot of a plane that was very low.
And he waved back

Hi , We stayed at the Palm Beach last year and didn't really notice the noise, however this year we stayed at the Club Don Toni and they flew right over us! It's great being on the beach and watching the planes coming into land. We did notice the noise sometimes of a night, was woken up a few times during our two week hol, but I think this was when the bigger planes were landing as most of the time you don't notice them. Enjoy your hol, we went in June and had two glourious weeks of sunshine!!!
Kick back get another beer and relax where else in the world can you go plane spotting and not be called an anorak

I was in PDB a couple of years ago and I loved watching the planes fly overhead whilst sat at the pool bar on a night.
It's fun watching them circle around above as they come into land and all the kids used to cheer.

I'm going to give it a darn good try Sam 
We loved watching the planes go by, my mum is a very light sleeper and she didnt have any problems. he beaches in this area are lovely too. Enjoy
I'm jealous, been twice to playa d'en bossa. first stayed at club don toni then a bahamas beach club. absolutely loved it as did the kids as they ask to go back to ibiza every year. would go every year but just fancied majorca this year for a change.
You will not notice the planes after a while, but it is great fun watching them go overhead and practically seeing the passengers.

Is it PDB that has a waterpark right under the flightpath? I can recall being at the top of a huge slide one time, when an aircraft damn near took my toupe off!

Stayed in PDB last October, cant say the planes bothered us at all, and yes, they do nearly take your head off in the aqua park!!
Haha! Yeah, in the Aqua park the view of them scimming the feilds is awsome! The noise lasts a few seconds and you barely notice it after literally hours, we enjoyed watching them though.

As you all predicted, the aircraft noise didn't bother us a bit. The planes were a novelty at first, then we stopped noticing them - only part I'd add is that on the last day we were calling them rude names as they were full of lucky people arriving as we had to leave !
