Hi
I am going to Son Bou and staying at the sa jaime complex on 6th May for 1 week . I could really do with some information please:
1 Will it be warm enough for the children to play in the pool and sea?
2 Is there any trips that you would reccommend?
3 Is there a kids club in case it rains?!
4 Are there any places to eat or drink that you would recommend?
5 Do you you know where i can find a map of the area?
6 Traval distance from airport?
Thank you for your help.
Son Bou is prob 45 mins from the airport.
A trip to mount torro is a good one, or if you can get into mahon, a trip round the harbour in a glass bottom boat.

my wife & i will going back to menorca at the end of august 06 for the 6th time.
we have found a lovely hotel at calan forcat which is near the old capital ciudella, called almirante farragutt.
for a day out i would call at calan forcat,it has plenty of bars,a water park for the kids, there are quite a few bars where you can have a drink and eat while the kids can burn energy in the play areas.
ciudella is a nice place to visit,if you go down to the marina you will find all the reataurants,if you like ,you can go onto the balcony of the yaught station(spelling)overlooking the marina & have food & drink.
visit mahon for the day,go to the local gin factory it's free to enter and you can taste the different gins for free.walk down the steps to the harbour and bear left keep walking out the gin factory is on your left,it's only small.
in mahon take a harbour tour on one of the boats,if your lucky you may see one of the big cruisers coming in.
a nice walk along the front of the harbour is turn right when you walk down the big steps, walk along past the million pound yauchts keep walking and look for some steps that lead you up to the top then you can walk back on the top looking down on the harbour if you like.
the local buses are very good in menorca, all air con.we use them all the time.
hope you have a good time.
cheers sam.
