We are planning our holiday this year for August with our two children aged 6 and 18 months.
We visited Cyprus two years ago staying in Pernera. Last minute booking and no car hire, although we booked many trips that isn't really our style.
We love exploring, so car hire is a must. Visiting historical sites, eating in traditional village tavernas and mixing with locals.
We have been looking at the 'quieter' areas of Polis, Latchi and Pissouri. Any advice on accomodation and these areas greatly appreciated.
We are most likley to be booking flights and accommodation seperately after a horrendous experience with First Choice in Rhodes last year (or Thomsons / TUI, which is now heading to court)
We have never booked direct before (flights, accommodation so would appreciate any words of wisdom!)
Many Thanks in advance
cyprus hotel reports there are one or two listed in the Pollis/lakki[latchi] area you will definitely need a car to get out and about, the beach at Lakki is black sand or shingle depending on which one you go to, Polis is inland above Lakki
