Just returned, visited Coco Beach which was one of my favourites.
So sad, it is badly need of tlc, ravaged by storms, some of the sea wall has gone along with a few shacks.Decomposing fish on the shore line being scoffed by flocks of crows !. this could be a really pretty spot with a little bit of investment !
is blacky's shack still there ?
yes Blacky's is still there. I must say we spent most of our time on Coco beach (got back yesterday). The far end of the beach has suffered some erosion so there's not much sand left, and the Lovely Jubbly shack and the St Francis shack have moved down next to the Delly Dolly shack. Apart from that, we thought it was great - the sea was lovely and clear; definitely a lot clearer than in January. I think the shack owners have just been taking their time getting sorted
The only problem we had was the number of Indian men gawping and trying to take photos - I think there were that many as the Film Festival was on in Panjim.
