I have not stayed in them, but believe the Constantinou Bros hotels in Paphos have a good reputation, Athena Royal Beach, they seem to all be in a row, but are a walk from the harbour, but in a nice part of Paphos

Well we've booked now for Athena Beach (not the Royal Beach). we prefered this one over the royal beach. It looked more modern and chic.
Mr P, nice to hear you have decided to go to Paphos, the hotel gets great reviews on a hotel review site, up to No 4 out off all the hotels, so some must love it, it seems like a lovely relaxing place, I decided to drive left at the triangle, its a road junction outside the Amuthus hotel, I parked and walked along all the hotels on this side, they looked lovely, the lovely grounds and pool areas run down to little coves with beaches, only thing between them is a paved walkway, lovely to stroll along.
I dont remember the harbour area but the walk was a pretty long one although not at all bad from what I remember.
I'm so jealous. We should have been there again right now, but had to cancel due to family bereavement. I'm gutted, because I always feel as though I'm going home when I go there.
Hope you have a lovely time.

Couldn't agree more. I feel a strong affinity with the Island - a wonderful feeling when I land.
The Athena is a lovely hotel, however, have to admit, we like it at the Royal too.
Have a lovely time Mr Parsons

Also can anyone recommend a website to book flight, accommodation and car hire.
I;ve been to Paphos once before but the hotel I stayed in was no where near anything so I never really ventured from the Hotel.
I would like my hotel this time to be in the main tourist area.
Any help would be appreciated - especially and resort information
Also is it expensive to eat out?
The added bonus is the beach is just the other side of your swimming pool
It's not a big hotel but it does get good reports and lots of repeat guests.
Have a great time!
Best wishes

Eating out is expensive, but if you shop around you can get a 3 course meal for about 8CY£. However if your worried about prices for eating out the Porto Paphos does a half board deal which you can pay for when you get there.
