Thanks for the replies. I thought it was an unusual comment after looking at the other reviews. I went last year and loved it. Four weeks to go 
Well I've just read Piemans review, what a heap of shite!
If there had of been 16 rooms broken into when he was there, I think other HT members would of reported it here, don't you.
Take no notice of his review, I think he was just taking the piss and wanted to cause a stir.

It's a matter of personal choice whether members wish to believe or disbelieve the comments made in any single review. However, perhaps we are giving one particular review more attention than it merits, and we are just highlighting the negative points which it raises to a wider audience. Hopefully anyone considering the Flamingo Oasis will read all recent reviews and be able to form their own opinions about the current situation at the hotel. Let's not dwell too much here on that one review.

I cannot believe that so many rooms were broken into as when we were there earlier in the year the security was very strict. This person is the only one complaining and due to the number of HT members who have given good reviews of this hotel I am surprised no-one else has spoken about it

I was staying at the Flamingo Oasis from the 11th to the 18th of June and did not hear anything about any rooms being broken in to at all.
Daughter arrived this morning - first impressions good.
Daughter enjoying it She said it rained a little today and was cloudy, but warm.
Yesterday she went to Mundomar and my granddaughter loved the dolhins!

Hi, does anyone know what the smoking situation is at the Oasis? Are there smoking areas or is it all non-smoking? TIA, Linda x
when we was there a couple of months ago the end section of the cafe was smoking, and the far end of the nightly entertainment area was as well. The rooms are smoking well.
Actually Linda, LizO will be more updated on this then me shes only not long come back from there this month.
My friend was staying at the Oasis at the end May and we went to visit her most days.
They are still allowing smoking indoors where Danny stipulated although at this time of the year, the entertainment is outside on an evening and of course there are no restrictions when smoking in the open air.

Hi all,
Well we are here!! Nearing the end of the holiday now so I had 5 minutes to look in!!
The hotel is as lovely as when we were here 3years ago but things are a bit on the slide (the food for one!)
We are having a great time tho and will leave a more in depth review when I get back

EDIT: welshchick ... I have had to remove your post for legal reasons. Due to misinformation and contradiction surrounding the incident you refer to, it is best that it is not discussed in the forums, especially in relation to the Flamingo Oasis which could possibly have no involvement whatsoever in the situation.
