As far as Air conditioning is concerned. I made that a priority when booking due to the warnings about the heat. We've chosen to stay at the Marinha Dourada so should be OK , in fact I'm yet to hear a bad thing about the place

I'm very much hoping our boys will make some local friends It should be quite an experience for them to remember.

We received the booking confirmation this morning so now we can get officially excited, and its only 270 days to go

Your boys will definitely make local friends and if anything like my 2 children will love every minute. Every shack boy on the beach used to call mine by name as we walked by and they were always included in football and cricket games. They even helped out in the kitchen on occasions ! One of the boys still phones and writes to them now and they can't wait to go back in December. The Goans are wonderful with children and you won't regret booking it.

Koh Samui in Thailand in April was by far much more humid than Goa in April (went about 5 years ago)
