Well the main thing is m8 is that they rung me up before they took the money which is nice of them

This is the third date I have seen cancelled with flyjet today and if anyone is travelling on the 23rd July then I would get in touch very quickly with them

John I'm waiting for them to ring me back

Sue has just been onto their website {I told her not to check} anyway seeing as they telephoned us this morning to say that the date was wrong on the return flight Sue thought she'd check to see if they have changed it, they haven't but the same flight is now nearly £50.00 cheaper and me being me thought she should have asked for money off this morning if we are losing a day.

I flippin knew she would do this

Poor you Moonshine, you`re not having much luck with these flights are you?
Never mind, it will all be worth it when you have your bum on a sun lounger and an Efes in your hand.
Have a great holiday.

Oh this isnt good I fly with FlyJet on Monday morning, just hope it all goes well there. If its this close to going (4 days) I doubt anything will be wrong would there?

Anyone on this flight? I have not received my tickets yet, and have been assured they are on their way, but have ready about cancellations with Flyjet, anyone else on this flight and received their tickets. I have tried to call XL.com this morning, but cant get through!.

I fly out on the 16th and have my tickets, but still worried about cancellations that could happen, my tickets were ready 10 days before I fly (6th) so I would maybe just wait a couple of days and if nothing ring them back.

I rang XL up yesterday around 3pm about my tickets, I fly on th 18:00 on the 20th July.

Apparently they were sent out in June, I had two options, 1) Pickup at the airport on the day. 2) Have the tickets emailed which I can print out {Must be on a colour printer}

I opted for the email as I didn't want to stand in two queues on the day as you have to pick the tickets up 3 hours before.

Received the email first thing this morning.

I have just got through to XL, confirmed that the flight is ok :D and that the tickets were posted yesterday, I wasnt given the option of an email ticket though!, think I would have preferred that. Anyway, panic over!, mind you I hate flying so this is one stress I can do without!!.

Loulou thank you

I've got a reply about the £40.00 difference and something about at the time you book it's live then 3rd party data and in other words when you bookonline you accept that and they then ring you to confirm so in other words less than 24 hrs after booking online and the phone call I lost £40.00 ahwell the main thing is that we are going

Sorry oasull can't help you with you're flight as we are not flying with them, but I wouldn't worry unless you get a letter through you're door like we did

Enjoy you're holiday

Hi

Am a bit worried after reading this thread. We are booked on XL flight XLA2V Friday 19th October at 14.15 from Manchester. I have looked on their webpage and cannot find any mention of a 14 .15 flight on Fridays. Have emailed them to check but have not received a reply

chris63 it was my Missus who spotted something wrong I think lastweek she has been keeping her eye on the Departures for our Flight that would have been anyway it was no longer showing on the Departures, think she mentioned this last Friday and I told her not to worry. Next thing early this week we got a letter through the door to say that FLight had been pulled.

I wouldn't worry mate until you get a letter to confirm it.

If you need to ring XL then here is the number I rang them on to sort things out 0870 320 7777

Hope it's ok and stops you worrying

Hi Moonshine

Thanks for that think I will probably ring them. My son in law booked this holiday for us all and booked with some company on the internet.Seems they booked the hotel through med hotels and I have been able to confirm this by contacting the hotel myself but I have not yet been able to confirm the flights.
Probably worrying about nothing but I hav'nt used these internet companies myself I usually contact the holiday company direct.

Yeh internet booking still creates problems Chris, even with our technology today, due to the amount of bogus companies trying to sell holidays and not having guaranteed them with their suppliers on first hand. They usually pick up the small low budget airlines etc but with small fleets becomes big problems if one was to go faulty etc.
Saying this, a lot of bookings through the internet work out perfectly fine, you just need to confirm things in advance and make sure you have appropiate paperwork at hand :)
Im sure everything will work out fine

It's ok booking online if you know its a good source and do you're homework 1st, come here and ask about the sellers, look at me, we booked ours last year with a big company and this happened and now I have booked other flights with somebody I have never dealt with before, all the info is on holidaytruths, just ring them Chris and put you're mind at rest
