I don't know about Bulgaria but we got a good price for a disposable camera at the airport. Can't remember the price but we actually got 2 cameras in the package.

Not always. Items they have to import are often more expensive.

Digital cameras tend to be as expensive in Bulgaria as in the UK and, in at least some cases, significantly more expensive. Memory cards are certainly more expensive.

I have never noticed disposable cameras - but then I've never looked for them. Unless the availability of goods at Bulgarian airports has improved since March, I wouldn't rely on buying one at your arrival airport.
