Hi, just arrived back. Did you find that the Fontana staff we a bit rude this year. We just managed to order food at 10.30pm and they rushed us and never even offered us a coffee. Our friends joined us for a drink at 10.50pm and they would not serve us. Needless to say we didnt go back.

The kebabs at the Doner Kebab restaurant was fantastic. I dont tend to eat Kebabs her because they are greasy but they were in a wrap and were delicious. It is situated just up from the Shamrock pub (which might i add is a brill night with lovely staff and Maria the owner is there all the time taking the drinks orders, and Joey the singer is good also. I would say to anyone going to Cala en Bosch, give them a go.

Just back from Calan Bosch.

Have to disagree with CBrinkley, we ate at the Long Cheng restaurant twice, both times had the set meal for 4, it was delicious and plenty of it!

also

Torre Negro for great steaks

and

Venezia for lovely Italian food

oh!

and the Tex Mex place was pretty good too.

These places are all around the marina.

Just returned from Calan Bosch - and we ate at the Steakhouse a few times. The food was tremendous = the lamb chops were delicious, and you got loads. The owner - Liberto cooks all the meat himself. He also owns the Shamrock Bar which is great Bar. The singer - Joey is fantastic and Laura who runs the bar is also great and makes a mean Sangria.

Legends Bar - avoid like the plague, was ill after eating there and also ended up with flea bites.

Not quite sure about the legends comment wendy, we ate there twice just and the food was lovely and the service good, and no illness at all.

Chaplins is very friendly & does good crossover food

We found la fontana to be brilliant & they couldn't do enough for us

tapas was ok but my orange juice was a bit poor for being 'freshly done'

britannia was cold veg but the lamb itself was lovely, perhaps close to being over-garliced.

A lot shut down the day we got there though so couldn't do the lot.
