Hi ıdy. lots going on in the Hotels.Local Markets on Wednesday and Saturday ( they are the best ) Local Dolmuş ( Bus ) No.105 will take you there Just tell the driver ' Market / Pazaar Both are in Lara about 20 minutes on the bus from you. Cost 1.15 YTL each or 30p. They run every hour and ask at reception for your departure time. Enjoy your holiday.

There isn't much in Lara Beach itself as all the Hotels are All Inclusives, we never went but were told the Sultaan Bazaar was very good a big Shopping Centre in Lara Beach. We got the free courtesy bus from our Hotel into Antalya for the day, was nice to look around the shops (if you don't like being pestered I wouldn't suggest this). On our way back we visited the Waterfalls at Lara (further along than Lara Beach) these were really nice. Our hotels watersports team offered a trip to the waterfalls by boat and also took you around some caves think that was priced at 35YTL each also if you wished you could get half price Paragliding whilst on the trip, but we did not have enough money left to do this trip.

We never felt much need to leave our hotel as it was lovely and there was plenty to do, we had a walk along the beach passing a lot of the other hotels and they all look equally impressing.

if your a culture vulture a trip to Aspendos would be good if you get the right day you can go late afternoon do the ruins and take in Opera/Ballet/pop concert or whatevers on when you are here.
