Hmm man, San Francisco is the one of the worst cities to visit if you have trouble walking! Having said that, you can ride the cable cars and take taxis (or hire a car), but it's an extremely hilly city to say the least. One good thing is that the US is very strict on access and facilities for the disabled and most places should be accomodating.
