Hi, anyone know whether its cheaper to get glasses in Turkey (Altinkum) than here? Just been to have eyes tested and as I'll be in Turkey (Altinkum) in 2 weeks time I wondered if it may be cheaper to get frames/lenses made up in Turkey? Thinking on varifocals......
We always get our frames when we're on holiday, but get our lenses in the UK. Hubby once got lenses in Fethiye (varifocal) and they weren't the right prescription, close, but not right. Frames are a lot cheaper abroad.
I got reactive prescription lens with designer frames for 190 ytl. Of course you can pay loads for frames, but i took a prescription from the uk with me and they also measures my existing glasses. They took 5 days in total.
I got lovely glasses in Icmeler last year £100 took my prescription with me and got the glasses next day. They are really deisgner looking, but with boots and specsavers doing great deal problably not that much of a bargain but I like them.
