due to travel to sayar apts in marmaris friday 24th august 2007, another member of our family is coming out a week later to stay at same apts, direct holidays have contacted them to say they have pulled out of apts from immediate effect. nobody has contacted us about this problem. they have offered her accomodation of a lower standard but we think its not acceptable. any views or info appreciated.

Tracy would get in contact with holiday company cos maybe you shouldn't be staying there either??. Surely you can't be given something of a lower standard?? Hope you get it sorted and have a lovely holiday
I am also travelling to Sayar apartments in September.
I have contacted Direct Holidays this morning and have been told that the Hotel have cancelled their contract with immediate effect. I have been offered other accomadation which I am happy with, the reveiws are good, and to be honest the accomodation looks slightly better.
The cancellation apparantly only happened in the last 3/4 days so they are trying to re-locate everyone.
I hope you end up in a hotel/apartment that you are happy with.
