Where to stay

Hi Butch
Don't know about the Hoseasons one, but Lomond Woods site is great. We took our touring caravan there for a few years and before that stayed in the lodges. The site is on the outskirts of Balloch about 10 minutes walk into the town and to the Loch Cruises and a bit further to walk to the lovely country park overlooking Loch Lomond.
Just outside the entrance to the site, if you turn left it's a short walk to the Loch Lomond Shores visitor centre which has a Sea Life Centre, great shops and restaurants, childrens activities, canoes, paddle boats, bicycle hire. There are also regular farmers markets and French markets.
A short drive up the loch(or a 20 minute walk along the old disused road) to Duck Bay with picnic tables, and more eateries.
It's so picturesque here with so much to do. There is a station with trains into Glasgow.
We love it so much that we have bought a place here now
