Do you mean Pollensa or Puerto Pollensa ? The former is 7 Km inland, the latter on the coast. If you mean the port, then it is easy. Get the bus that goes to C'An Picafort, via Alcudia, and get off at the park. If you are in Pollensa then I think you need to get the bus to the port then proceed as above.

The bus advice is spot on. The stop you need is just over the bridge opposite the Parc Natural hotel. Entrance is just by the bus stop.
The park itself is vast. There are various walks you can take. There is all sort of flora and fauna. Not sure in September what the birdlife will be, but take binoculars and camera as you will see a lot including perhaps the water buffalo. Oh, and take some water and refreshment.
