This saga finally concluded this week.
In summary, we lodged an online claim and were awarded the amount in full. Drive & Go appealed.
The next Judge awarded us a lesser amount as he said he couldn't determine fault after such a long time but reimbursed our Solicitors costs due to Drive & Go's complete lack of contact and customer service. We appealed.
We were finally awarded our claim in full at the last hearing.
There were around half a dozen court hearings as *** of Drive & Go didn't even turn up to several of them. My in-laws kindly attended them all on our behalf.
Drive & Go did not pay us by the court appointed date so we had a Warrant issued and the bailiffs attended and collected a cheque.
The cheque bounced so the bailiffs reattended and collected another cheque and froze some property which would be siezed in the event the second cheque bounced also.
It didn't and we finally received payment earlier this week.
Avoid this company at all costs!
Nice one.
Thanks for the warning. It's amazing that there are so many of these companies around.
Great result for you. Just sorry it took so long though - I'm sure some companies drag their heels in the hope people will go away!!
Thanks for letting us know the end result, sounds as if you really caused Drive and Go some pain!
Cheers Geri
