I will be in Goa for 8 months. Whether or not the First Visa Officer at HCI London gives me a 1 year T visa we will see! I did seak to him and he said it is possible. As I said we will see what happens.
Anyway I'm wondering if any long termers etc have any contacts for an apartment in North Goa.
I'm looking for the following and also what are the chances of the following:-
Getting a 2 bed place?
Less than 10k a month?
Any rough idea as to what the utilities may be?
The forums get a bit confusing when searching!
Oh also I plan to fly up to Delhi & Agra in January to see the Taj Mahal....has anyone done this in Jan. I know it can get very foggy and may delay flights?

For 10K a month you should get something nice with fridge, cooker etc. Make sure the rent includes electricity and 24hrs water supply as I know a few people who get stung with that one.
The best way to find a place is to ask the locals, whether it be a taxi driver, bar man or shop owner - they all know somebody!
You don't say when you'll be arriving in Goa but I'd say get there before November if you need to sort out somewhere to live as Goa is popular with long stayers and nice places get snapped up quickly.

Yeah I arrive late November....I'm being told it should still be ok by the charity CWT. I defo need a 2 bed place. I have heard silly rentals of 25000INR a month!!

The most practical solution is find a cell no. of some good taxiwala from forum with the help of memebrs,call him and tell him what you exactly need,this sometimes helps.Good luck.
