hi. weve stayed at assena, 3 times, the best way to do it is book it when you are there, they do a thing called flexi dine, ie, if you are going for two weeks you can have 7 nights at half board,, you can book what you like we stayed for aweek, and had 4 meals, out of the seven, and paid about
£40, for the two of us.but we have also stayed for 2 weeks,i booked for 7 nights and he gave us 9 vouchers, and that cost £80 ,that was 2 years ago mind, but prices do not seem to go up much,it is quite cheap to go into hisaronu, to 1 of the many bars and resturants, and weve never had a bad meal any where,we have been to hisaronu ,9 times and return on the 10 th sept ,only for one week ,but anything is better then nothing, hope this helps you out :D

Hi Steve

We stayed at the Asene in June on b&b,you can upgrade when you get there but we like trying different places to eat.

But they come round when you're having breakfast asking if you want the buffet meal on the night. We decided to try the Turkish buffet one night and it was really good,it cost about £6 but you got a 3 course meal and you could have as much as you wanted.

some websites say mini bar some say fridge ( hoping for fridge so we can stock it ourselves (if we're allowed) Also meals never been to Turkey half board before always s/caterd so hoping they will be ok
AS YOU CAN TELL IM TOTALLY CONFUSED SO SOME RECENT INFO WOULD BE GREAT! :?

i put some people in the village in august it was very busy but everyone seemed friendly enough the people i put there had a fridge and they used it for drinks in there room they do use a card system for the purchase of food and drink at the bars this can add up quite quickly if you don't keep check on it and pay it up daily

This place is very cheap on Travel Republic at the moment, either half board or b&b I think. Could be tempted but still waiting for the Iberostar Tropical to shop up on the accom sites.

family rooms are not two rooms interconnected the ones we have stayed in are three bedrooms and one bathroom in one space, one main door. There is a mini bar in the rooms, we put are own stuff in there with no problem we also brought our own beer in to drink in our rooms with no problem . Also this is the only hotel we ever go half board in, there is nothing to complain about with the food maybe it too nice but thats all.

Hi
We stayed there in June and we thought it was a good place to stay. They used to come round early afternoon and check the mini bar to see if you had used anything, but we had our own drinks inside and nothing was said. The location is about a 1/4 of a mile from the main centre, but even when we were there in a heatwave it wasn't a problem.

plenty of places in hisaronu for a 18year old also the hotel bars are always quite busy. hamishmcturk.com does a transfer service and always on time and contactable. The prices are on his website, just email and he will get back to you. Theres always a few of us and we have a mini bus £50 each way, we have used asena transfer as well they are fine but more expensive than elsewhere. The hotel is a five minute walk from the main town, love hisaronu but the last 3 or 4 years is becoming very benidorm(never been there but how i would imagine it,sorry) so, very sadly probley wont vist as often as we have been. Ould deniz is lovely a year or 2 behind Hisaronu and Fethyie is also great. Hisaronu is a great base for exploring other places, but its getting bigger and less personal every year but still full of a lot of lovely people.

thanks everyone begining to fell more at ease about booking this now .well maybe not after you said it was like benidorm Beccy ! Nothin against the place just the last time i booked for there I got pregnant! LOL. it was nearly hubby who was rushin to cancel this time ha ha ! Great that no one seems to think they enforce the food n drink rule in the rooms although they still state it on their website kind of couldnt imagine how they could any way. NEXT QUESTION!!!!!! whats the best market in the area and on which day is it on .?

benidorm is a bit harsh maybe, but for peace asena is one of the best hotels in hisaronu, no other hotels, shops, houses around when your sitting by the pool. Market day is monday in Hisaronu its abot a 15/ 20 minute walk or tuesday in fetyie which s alot bigger sels the same things just more of them.do try to go to Fethyie as if you want shopping there are some good shops there as well as fab places to eat. Forgot to say i dont think they have the fruit and veg market in hisaronu anymore(no room because of all the new buildings!) they used to be on oppisite sides of the road so just clothes e.c.t. i always buy some nice things for the garden and everything has weathered very well.

wil definately go to fethyie then . as well as given hisaronu market a try . not so bothered about the fruit n veg market . My only contribution to food shopping those 2 weeks is that i've booked us half board. Really looking forward to this now! :D

if its peak summer the markets are very hot so go early in the morning
they also arrange the market so as you can only go one way round and do tend to keep on
the asena hotel in hisaronu in the main kids holidays gets very busy and is quite jambed in around the pool
