Have been in half term at end of Oct and myself and kids had fleeces and my wife had a thickish cardigan for the evening

As soon as the sun disappears the temperature drops extremely fast BUT during the day it was a very pleasant 24 or 25

Does anyone know what the evening temperature will be around late September, going on Sat 22nd for a week.

Will we need long sleeves and trousers?

I remember Turkey in Oct, lovely in day and freezing in evening, needed soxs too!

Thanks!

I went to Portugal 2 years ago today, we have been around the dates your going about 2/3 times, from what we have experienced it can get a bit cold in the evening, first time we was there it was very chilly at night and something was advisable just to keep you that little warmer, it varied though, the last time we went it was pleasent at night! So id say take whatever you feel necessarry and hope you wont have to use it!

We visited last year 1st week of October. Weather was fine, warm and sunny sunbathing up to 7pm at the villa. Evenings we went out in short sleeves, never felt chilly but then we may have just been lucky.

Thanks for your tips. I will definitely take a selection of long and short and a faithfull long sleeve zip up top (which is more than handy for when the plane pumps out cold air!)..

Cheers!
