Has anybody been to la littoral campsite near sable d'olonne? we are booked to go with keycamp next year, but other than their website, and keycamp brochure, where it looks great, we can't find any other reports on it. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

This site is owned and run by Yelloh Village a French company which gives superb service. The web site for the camp site can be found here:

It is a shame that you have booked with Keycamp already as the accomodation and service by Yelloh tends to be far cheaper and superior than the other companies who rent space to put their own accomodation on the site.

You obviously had good service John
but our experience of Yelloh was at best mediocre the Campsite was Charlemagne at Marseillan Plage. Staff dis-interested, shop opened when they felt like it etc
OK it was nearly end of season BUT the site was full
The staff also got very stroppy when a group of us Camping Cheques users discussed going to sites that were not part of the Yelloh group you would have thought we were acting disgracefully (Charlemagne is not taking Cheques this year I wonder why???)

Hello Madc I am sorry to hear of your bad experience but you did the right thing by voting with your feet and going elsewhere in the future. I should have made it clear that I have not been to this site but I have met many people who have and all reports have been good. I go to the Yelloh Village site at Le Ranolien twice a year and always have fantastic service. If anyone is interested I have posted before about my experience so I will not bore anyone by re posting, a search will bring up all the info.
