There doesn't seem to be any golf courses outside of Belek.

Thanks tcam10, not what I wanted to hear so I suppose it will have to be crazy golf in Marmaris then . Surely it would pay some one to open a golf course in the Marmaris area. Does any one know of any plans to do that in the future?

Land close to built up area's particularly tourist ones is a premium price in Turkey, That's why you wont find Golf courses near, The best your going to get is by following this link below, If the link doesent work copy and paste it into a new browser.

Looks like you will have to wait until 2008. Its far to hot though for golf between May and September!

The only mention of a Golf Course I could find is on this link to a Company called "Gocay", I don't see any Photos of Bunkers or Flags so it may be just more pipe dreams

Thanks again every one, looks like 2008 in serigemi might just have a golf course for next season then, which is when we want it for. Friends using our place in Icmeler next May are keen golfers hence my question. We are of to Icmeler ourselves in October and will have a look at the Marmaris Golf centre but it does look a bit suspect looking at the web site

Please does any one have any updates on golf courses for this season. Marmaris golf is up for rent according to the above link, the gokay link does not work any longer and the other one at Serigermi says it will be open but does not say when nor does it show any progress ie more upto date pictures etc. Thanks

New golf course for Sarigerme should be open for summer 08.

New 18 hole course and 5***** accom has been built ,, It may take time before it is ready for public use

Ä°n that time Belek has opened 5 or 6 courses For anyone looking for golf in Turkey belek is the only serious option. Unfortunately I only get to play about twice a year as the business keeps me off the courses. I am looking forward to easing back in a couple of years and then trying to get my handicap down a bit.
