From what we have read on the HT forum there are loads of people who went to Goa last year. Can we have some updated hotel reviews please, I love reading what people thought of their stays at the hotels / guest houses whether booked though a travel company or independently.

Thats a great hotel review. Luisa by the sea resort sounds fantastic.
We have booked Kingstork in Calangute for this year and really looking forward to it.

Done my bit - added a review of our stay at the Taj holiday village last November/December
It wasn't that bad - probably mostly in my mind 
It was dear - but I got my head around it by converting the prices back to GBP and then putting them on the tab - it didn't seem too bad then. Plus the tab at the end wasn't that bad - just had a look and it was £140 over the two weeks, so not too bad at all
That doesnt sound to bad Rakkor. Its the lovely comfy bed I am jealous of as usually the mattress's in Goa are thin and hard. Mind you we stayed at casa seashell last year and the beds were lovely and comfy (1100 rps a night) the best we have stayed in so far. Hopefully Kingstork in Calangute is as good if not better. Do you know it being a Calangute man yourself.
M & J The Ronil doesnt sound to promising then sorry to hear about your bad experience about the meal. We also had a problem a few years ago at the Summerville in Candolim with overcharging for drinks. Even I couldnt drink 14 gin & tonics in 2 1/2 hours

I put in my review of the Radisson White Sands in April, but just want to point out that the location given in the list is wrong, it's Varca not Margao,I know it's not far away, but it could be confusing for anyone new to the area
