Certainly good choice, in a very good location and near to the shopping plazas. Where do we start, firstly if you like cantonese then Khong Tsha on the Parque santiago 4 complex is a must. Prices similar to UK but well worth paying.

Across the road you will find a strip of bars mainly aimed at the brits. Entertainment on most evenings but be prepared to pay a little more for your drinks. Once you have been on there a few nights it does get a little tedious.

About a 10 min walk from you is the area known as the Patch, on here you will find numerous bars including Blaydon races with a drag act which is very good.

Above the safari shopping complex there are quite a few what i would call upmarket restaurants and they are all worthy of trying out. There's the Teppanakyi restaurant, think the indian is called Star of Asia and theres a italian which i am led to beleive is very good, but not tried it myself.

Think thats a taster of whats to come for you so i will leave it at that and maybe another poster will wish to contribute as well.

If you are going near the Safari Centre Magic Bar is a must. It is opposite and is decorated in an Arabian theme, tents etc, there are all mixed ages and nationalities in there which makes for a great night and you can dance till your hearts content. Only thing is you don't say if there will be children with you as Magic Bar does not allow children

Enjoy

Tenerife is great and think you will like it. Word of warning though it is totally different from Marmaris ... had a beer in Alize yesterday  You are going to a good location.

Hi ya we are staying Parque Santiago 4 in October, as we did last year, but can anyone tell me the best (and quickest) way into Los Cristianos we walked the beach road last year but i dont feel we found the best of it - restaurants etc we got as far as the docking area for the ferrys, did we go wrong should we have gone further on- can you get a bus?

just go straight out onto the front and turn left... then walk along the beachfront.

theres now a wee tunnel that takes u thru to the harbour.. once in the harbour where the ships are, then keep walking along the beach direction and thats you basically in the old town.

u'll see the narrow streets etc and the small local bars and stuff.

not sure if this place is till there, but i recommend raz-ma-taz for some food 8)
