Could you give a bit more info, like when you would like to go, what is your most convenient airport and would you prefer a hotel or apartment?

If you can supply this info then maybe able to give you some advise although quite often at the moment http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk seems to be offering some of the best prices for accommodation and if you enter 'STUDENT' into the promotional code box then it knocks a little bit extra off the price.

The code for Travel Republic was CARDSTUDENT, but I read elsewhere on the site that it no longer works. Don't know if they've issued another one.

Both STUDENT and CARDSTUDENT used to do the job and you are quite correct, just tried both of them and neither of them gave a discount

Without the discount that Travel Republic offered I find http://www.go2spain.co.uk are quite often the cheapest.
