South Goa advice wanted please

Well have been away from this forum for a long time after having an awful year but now I'm back (fairly obvious

)

I need sun desparately, and having done North Goa I think it's time to try the south...I'd be really grateful for any advice on what I'm looking for from any of you kind Southern experts on here

a reasonable b&b, not really bothered which resort, but something not too razzy, as I just need total relaxation on a great beach and time to rejuvenate...single accomadation by the way.

...decent eating out also, and not too crowded..and last but not least, not too pricey

Sorry to hear your year has not been too good. While you are waiting for answers have you seen this thread and also our updated resort reviews?

thanks for the links, I had a brief look at the first one, I will give it a good read tomorrow.....however whilst looking around the forum I came across a place called Ciarans in Palolem.....that has just gone to number 1 in my list

I agree with Pat. Look into either Gaffinos, Sao domingoes or the Palm Grove.

Cavelossim ticks all your boxes with great places to eat and a lovely beach to chill on.

Also one thing to remember about Palolem is quite far South if wanting to still visit other sights in Goa. I have out a few photo's in a couple of albums of our last couple of trips based in Cavelossim on

hey thanks everyone for the pointers to Cavelossim....I must admit I'd given it a quick glance, but you've swayed me I think...cheers jock for the photo links....it looks lovely, and you and your family look as though you had a fantastic time !
