Sorry, I can't remember how much we paid when we went to Palolem. I'll check with hubby. The first time we went the taxi driver took us to Hi-Tide and we felt obliged to stay there. (Think taxi driver got a backhander). Our cocohut was on stilts with a ladder leading up to it. We had a little balcony with patio chairs on which was lovely to sit on and have a last drink. The bed was on the floor with a mosquito net hanging over it and tucked in under the matress. Also had an electric light. The downside was the communal bathroom. Really yukky with blue plastic over the window (the plastic had what looked like peepholes poked into it so I showered in the dark that night!!!) Amazing experience though.
When we went last year we had a look at a few other places and chose a place with a really wierd name, run by a guy called Ali. It was something like '------ thing'. Oh I can't remember!!

I've just asked my daughter to text Ali and ask him. It was lovely there. We had a ground floor cocohut with an en-suite bathroom (sounds grand doesn't it!!) The food was lovely and in the evening they moved the sunbeds and put tables and chairs on the beach. It was so romantic eating by candlelight with the waves splashing just a few feet away. Deffo going back this year
Sorry.... I've rambled a bit.
